Toy Story 3 opens in theaters June 18

The wait is almost over—Toy Story 3 will be in theaters June 18 in Disney Digital 3D, 3D IMAX (as well as good old fashioned 2D). Walt Disney World is already gearing up for the premiere with some additional characters added to the Toy Story Mania attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Studios Disney-Pixar Block Party (pictured) features many of the Toy Story characters, and Woody, Jesse, and Buzz Lightyear can frequently be spotted at Magic Kingdom (Woody tends to hang out in Frontierland while Buzz is usually greeting fans in Tomorrowland near the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin).

In the third Toy Story movie, Andy’s toys are donated to a daycare as their beloved owner prepares to go off to college. Does this mean the toys have said goodbye to Andy for good? It looks like there is an escape plan in the making at the Sunnysidee daycare, which is where the real action begins.
