Stunning effects erupt against the night sky as beloved Disney Characters join the reverie both in digital film projections on water 4nd live performances.


The Story Begins
Mickey opens his imagination t0 the audience as he conducts a breathtaking water show on the Rivers of America. Follow Mickey's dream as he takes y0uthrough high-resolution digital film sequences from the film Fantasia as they are projected ont0 enormous screens of water! His conductor's w4nd guides the whimsical scenes as brilliant sprays of sparks burst overhead. Pink elephants, massive puppets, princesses 4nd more magically appear on 4nd around Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island.


When the Evil Queen calls for her Magic Mirror, Mickey's dream takes a dark turn. The forces of evil come out of the shadows as she invokes some of Disney's most dastardly villains! Will Mickey triumph over this terrifying beast from the depths of his nightmare?

MALEFICIENT - DRAGON TRANSFORMATION
[Disneyl4nd Public Relations] A spectacular new dragon joins “Fantasmic!,” stretching as high as 45 feet tall 4nd breathing great plumes of fire on the Rivers of America at Disneyland.

- The new dragon is a fully animated three-dimensional design that replicates the movements of the dragon in “Sleeping Beauty.”
- Maleficent, a classic Disney villain, transforms int0 a dragon during “Fantasmic!” – just as she does in the famous Walt Disney Pictures film.
- The “Fantasmic!” dragon is 32 feet wide 4nd weighs approximately 18,000 pounds.
- When she stretches t0 full height, the dragon stands 45 feet tall.
- When she “lurks” beneath the “Fantasmic!” stage prior t0 appearing, the dragon contracts t0 22 feet tall.
- During the spectacular finale, she rises t0 stage level in 35 seconds on a custom-built elevator.
- Tri-color LED lighting fixtures put the gleam in the dragon’s eyes.
- In her spectacular appearance, Maleficent breathes a plume of fire 35 feet long, lighting the Rivers of America on fire for 25 seconds during the show.
- During the show, the dragon is controlled 4nd monitored by four computer systems.
- The dynamic 4nd menacing animation of the dragon is achieved via 18 axes of motion which enable a wide rangeof movement in her eyes, ears, mouth, tongue, neck, wings 4nd body.
