Imagine yourself on an island paradise, thousands of miles away from home. This is a place where you and your family can go every year. That is, if you own a timeshare in beautiful Hawaii. It has been said that the best Hawaii timeshares may be the best timeshares in America. In an article called "Hawaii Timeshares Make a Great Investment," author Timothy Sexton says, "Hawaii timeshares double the value [of owning a timeshare there] because, not only is it a cheaper [way to visit], let's face it, the average joe simply can't even come close to affording Hawaiian properties outright."
Timeshares in Hawaii have been leading a rebound in construction and a gentle rebound in tourism. In 2006, the Hawaii Tourism Authority released a study that says that many existing hotel units are converting ti timeshares and condominiums over the next few years. Timeshare developments are attractive because, as Andrew Gomes of the Honolulua Advertiser says, "you get large up-front returns generated by sales and the flexibility to use unsold units as hotel rentals." Timeshare operators continue the trend of vacation-ownership. More giant hotel chains than ever before are building timeshares in Hawaii. For example, in a 2003 article in the Honolulua Advertiser, the following new timeshares are described and these are just on the island of O'ahu alone:
A Ritz-Carlton hotel at Ko Olina Resort & Marina About 200 rooms -- Construction is expected to begin in the second or third quarter of next year.
Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club 90 rooms -- Construction of the second phase of the 750-unit time-share project is to start in November 2004.
Hilton Grand Vacations Waikiki time-share 350 rooms -- Hilton has not determined a construction timetable.
Kalia Tower at Hilton Hawaiian Village 453 rooms -- Guest rooms have been closed since July 2002 because of mold. Most guest rooms are scheduled to reopen Sept. 1, but 72 units on six floors of the 25-story tower are to be converted to time-shares by December.
Outrigger's Waikiki Beach Walk, 890 rooms -- Tentative plans call for groundbreaking in 2006 or later for a 27-story hotel/time-share tower, replacing 436 obsolete hotel rooms in the Lewers Street area.
In a Hawaii timeshare owner's blog it's noted that for awhile now, "timeshare industry professionals have been saying that Hawaii timeshares are growing in popularity... Consequently, More timeshares will be available on the resale market."
Visitors to Hawaii, who can't afford to buy a vacation home, have many options on the timeshare market. You can have your own bit of island paradise. Hawaii timeshares offer luxury accommodations for affordable prices.
Fun in the Sun - Buying a Florida Timeshare

Fun in the Sun - Buying a Florida Timeshare

Florida is a leader in the timeshare industry, having more timeshares than any other state. And what's not to like about Florida? You have everything from pristine beaches to world class golf courses.
Florida is an outdoor lover's dream location. With over 600 miles of beaches, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and all kinds of water sports- this is the place for you and your family. But what if you can't afford to buy a home there and that's unrealistic anyway? You can, possibly, own a Florida timeshare.
Florida has so much to offer. If you have children, you have the best attractions in the world to entertain them. And almost anyone who has been to Disney with their kids, will happily go back for visit after visit. Buying a timeshare would mean that you and your family could better afford your vacations there. It only takes a few years to recoup your investment. And then after that, you'll be sailing. Just think, you can come to Florida every year and share it with your friends and family.
One of the best things about a timeshare, no matter where you own it, is the ability to trade your timeshare with others all over the world. This makes your Florida timeshare even more appealing. You can join exchange groups such as Resort Condominiums International (RCI) or Interval International (II) and through them you can arrange to exchange your timeshare week(s) with other exchange group members.
You will get the best deal on a Florida timeshare when you buy from a resale agent. Many sellers in Florida are selling their timeshares at or below market value. It's definitely a buyer's market out there. In a July, 2005 article by Jason Tremblay, he says the Florida time-share industry contributed $14.3 billion to the state's economy. This suggests that the timeshare market is alive and well in Florida. As a buyer, your choices are almost endless.
There is no doubt that people love their timeshares. According to Resort Condominiums International website, www.RCI.com , they have over 3000,000 registered members. They have, on average, 9000 new members each month and about 80,000 visitors each week. With numbers like that, you, as a timeshare owner have so many choices. You can rent or trade your timeshare with literally thousands of people.
Florida offers so many vacation possibilities. Owning a timeshare there would mean you could go back there over and over, learning and discovering even more about this beautiful state. You can sit on a beach and be amused by the pelicans or you can do something about your handicap on a nearby golf course. When it comes to timeshares, Florida has it all- great timeshare resale opportunities, the ability to easily exchange your timeshare with others, and the satisfaction of offering your friends and family a fabulous, fun in the sun, vacation.
