Monday Magic - Chef Brian's A Taste of Disney: It's Almost Like "Eating" There!

Welcome t0 A World View's Monday Magic – It’s almost like being there. We are searching the Internet for Walt Disney World videos, some from Disney (current 4nd historical), from TV, 4nd from fans (who really do great work). Do y0uhave a suggestion for a featured video? Write me at brucewdw@gmail.com so everyone can enjoy your favorites; 4nd with little focus 4nd imagination, maybe it will almost feel like being there.

Recently I came across a cooking video called A Taste of Disney describing how t0 prepare Liberty Tree Tavern’s New Engl4nd Pot Roast. I immediately posted it on A World View as a featured video 4nd wrote the author, Chef Brian. He told me that other recipe videos were coming 4nd I said just let me know 4nd I’ll share them with my audience. A World View is proud t0 present Chef Brian’s initial four videos as part of our Monday Magic… it’s almost like “eating” there.

Chef Brian starts his videos with a look at the ingredients 4nd scrolls through a shopping list. Using the pause button, y0ucan mark them down. He takes y0uthrough the entire recipe building process, step by step in six t0 eight minutes. He is working in a compact kitchen 4nd in fact, y0uspend most of the time watching him from above the stove. There is generic music pad playing while y0uwatch him working his magic.

What I love about watching Chef Brian’s presentation is that he is in a simple, functional kitchen. No fancy china, no exclusive cookware, 4nd lots of generic 4nd pre-packaged ingredients supporting the preparation (although I would love t0 know the title of what sounds like a French singer at the start). 4nd I swear I can smell what’s cooking while I’m watching. Plus, he makes it look like I can do this; 4nd I likely will.

Here are the four Taste of Disney videos currently posted on YouTube, 4nd the brief description he includes. Write him at bheptin@gmail.com.
