Blue Spring Manatee Festival Jan. 22-23

Just 45 minutes north of downtown Orlando, Valentine Park in Orange City, FL will be hosting the 26th annual Orange City Blue Springs Manatee Festival on Saturday, January 22 and Sunday, January 23 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Manatee Festival is a fundraiser for the Orange City community set against the backdrop of the manatees’ winter home in nearby Blue Spring State Park. Admission for the event is $8 for adults, $2 for children ages 4-10, and children 3 and under are free. Dogs are permitted for an additional $10 fee.

In addition to having the opportunity to see the manatees in their natural habitat, scheduled events include presentations by the Central Florida Zoo, arts and crafts, inflatables, face paintings, children’s activities, carnival rides, sand sculpting, live entertainment and festival food. A free shuttle bus will be available to take visitors to Blue Spring State Park to see the manatees. For more information, visit the official Manatee Festival website.
