Holidays with children can often by difficult to plan. You want to find that perfect vacation location for your kids that is kid friendly and fun for the entire family. When trying to find this perfect location for your holidays with children, then you need to keep several things in mind. 1. Kids would list the most wanted vacation location as Walt Disney World. This resort has something for everyone, no matter what age. Your children can enjoy the many kid friendly activities, restaurants, and experiences ad they spend time with Mickey Mouse, the Princesses, and other characters. Scottsdale, Arizona, Where The Living Is Easy

Scottsdale Arizona, is internationally renowned as a major resort destination despite barely squeaking into the top 100 of U.S. cities in terms of population. No Virginia, size is not everything.
Although its nickname is "the West's Most Western Town" I have to say that really is a misnomer. In fact, construction of new horse corrals was all but banned back in the 70's. Call me old fashioned but to be "Western" I think horses should factor into the equation somewhere. The only re-shoeing going on in Scottsdale today is a trophy-wife exchanging her Blahnicks for Jimmy Choos!
That being said, Scottsdale truly is a treasure. It has been written that in terms of entertainment and culture, Scottsdale ranks at #3 behind Los Angeles and New York. As someone who has lived, at length, in all three places, I have to say that Scottsdale is most definitely on the ascendancy; indeed it may already have surpassed L.A., in this humble scribe's opinion. Certainly, theatre, dining and entertainment are L.A.'s equal, but housing costs are much lower, and the traffic here in Scottsdale is a breeze compared to the grid-lock that L.A. has become.
It is also the reason that many wealthy people, and in fact several celebrities, have chose Scottsdale for their second home. Spectacular estate homes in Scottsdale are available for a fraction of the cost of comparable homes in LaLa land. Of course, many are of new construction with all the attendant modern conveniences that would be expensive retrofits in Los Angeles. Plus we still have abundant land available here in Scottsdale, a situation not available in L.A. for many years.
Scottsdale is also well served by its own airport as well as Phoenix International Sky Harbor Airport just minutes away. Of course, the northernmost boundary of Scottsdale abuts Carefree,(which also has its own airport) even so it is still a scant 30 minute drive to downtown Phoenix.
Believe it or not, when the town of Scottsdale was incorporated in 1951 it was just one square mile. Today, it covers around 184 square miles.
As testament to its status as one of the premier golf and tourist destinations in the world, Scottsdale is home to the annual FBR Open Golf Tour, the most attended PGA event on the tour.
It is also home to the world famous Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction, plus a host of lesser auctions staged at the same time, such as Russo and Steele and Kruse.
While it is true that it can be an expensive place to live, it should be remembered that the older parts are quite affordable and are enjoying something of a renaissance. One of the benefits of the cooling real estate market, is that for some who felt the ship had sailed forever in 2004 and 2005, there is a second chance to grab a piece of the dream.
Whether your interest is cars, horses, museums, art, theatre, entertainment, shopping, nightlife or golf, there is something for everyone in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Whatever type of accommodations you need for business or leisure travel to Malaga, Spain, there is a Malaga hotel that can take care of all your needs. Accommodations can be categorized by hotel, resort, apartment or condominium, hostel, bed & breakfast, or conference centre. While the hotels are most plentiful, there are these other types of arrangements to give you more options.
Hotels in Malaga
There are dozens of hotels in Malaga ranging in size and price. The average hotel will cost about $100 US or less, so even the four and five star rated hotels are quite reasonable. For a nicer, high rise hotel in the centre of the city, you could choose from the AC Malaga Palacio Hotel or Los Naranjos Hotel, each with all the amenities and services of any large chain. Other hotels rated highly by visitors include the Novetel Malaga or the Hotel Adriano.
Luxury Spas and Resorts
You can enjoy the beautiful weather, golf or just a relaxing holiday at any number of spas and resorts in and around Malaga. Some favourites of tourists include the Parador Malaga Golf and the Sunset Beach Club. The Gran Hotel Benahavis in Malaga features swimming and a fitness centre and costs between $100-$250 US per night. An option with apartments or condominiums is that you could just lease for your vacation or buy timeshares so that you can return year after year. Apartments generally do not rent by the night, unless you are willing to pay a short-stay surcharge. Usually owners like to book the apartment for at least one week as a minimum stay.
Money Saving Hostels
Hostels are not just starving students on break. They offer an entirely different way to spend your holiday. At a hostel you will get to know travellers from around the world, even if you do give up a bit of luxury in the process. Some options in Malaga include the Residencia Universitaria Santa Paula or the Picasso's Corner Backpackers Hostel. These will cost you under $30 per night. At the hostels, you will generally have access to a shared kitchen and common room, but a private sleeping area. Linens may or may not be included, but there is usually a place to do laundry and lock up valuables if need be. Some require advance reservations of at least 24 hours, while others allow for drop in. Be sure to check if yours has a curfew or you may find yourself locked out after returning from dancing or the bar!
Romantic Bed and Breakfasts Bed and Breakfasts are a little different in Malaga and the surrounding areas than you might find in New England in the U.S. This description could be applied to hotels having as many as 150 rooms, but because a continental breakfast is included it earns that name. These hotels are more like hotels than the quaint inns furnished with antiques. However, they still have plenty of European charm and personal service.
Full-Service Conference Centres
Conference centres provide all of the business services needed to run a successful business meeting along with comfortable rooms and amenities. These tend to be higher on the price range scale but no expense is spared in service or upgrades. For example, the Avda Rio de Guadalmedina in Malaga is a four-star hotel with rooms ranging in the $220-$300 US per night range. It is new and modern and is close to all of the good restaurants and sights. You can just as the concierge for directions or to make your dinner reservations for you.

What is your intention for the holidays?

I grew up in Miami and every December my husband Steve and I go to Miami to visit my parents for a few days. My parents are big "foodies." They love good food and love treating us to nice meals out when we're with them. I also love good food and eating at nice restaurants, but I find that when I eat several meals out in a row that I don't enjoy it as much. Each meal out no longer feels special. Sometimes less is more, know what I mean?
Last December I did an experiment. Rather than going out to eat every night that we were in Miami, I decided I would do some cooking. I was on vacation and didn't have much to do, so cooking was fun and relaxing. I was able to try some new recipes and give my mom a break from cooking dinner every night. The best part? My family loved all the yummy food I cooked! It didn't feel like a sacrifice to stay in for dinner. It was fun and delicious.
In about a week Steve and I leave for Miami where we'll be enjoying a 2-week vacation. I am sure this vacation will include some decadent meals out - especially since we will be celebrating my birthday and our second anniversary. I am looking forward to these special meals, but I am also looking forward to continuing this new tradition of enjoying some special meals at home. (I think my parents are also looking forward to this!)
I have also set an intention that I will continue to exercise while on vacation. I don't have a gym membership in Miami, but that won't get in my way. I'll walk and jog outside, go to my parents gym where I can pay a small fee for each visit and use the weights or take a spinning class, and perhaps check out a local yoga or pilates studio.
Now you might be thinking this sounds like a sacrifice. Why would I want to cook and exercise on my vacation? I don't see it as a sacrifice at all. Rather, I am making decisions to do things that are going to make me feel great - without feeling deprived. My goal isn't to achieve some sort of unattainable perfection over the holidays, but to have a balance. And I know from past experience that this will keep my mood and my energy will balanced so I can having an amazing vacation.
What small steps can you take to achieve a balance during the holidays? The things that will make you feel great may be different than the things that make me feel great. Maybe you will eat more mindfully, make a healthier version of a holiday dish, or try a new outdoor activity. Take a minute to think about it.

Why is Southern California so popular for destination weddings? The answer is simple: wedding beach locations. Couples pay good money to vacation and recreate near the coastal zones. Whether it's the amazing and beautiful scenery of Laguna Beach, San Diego, or Orange County, beach weddings are here to stay. With the delicate, gentle breeze running through your hair, a wedding on the beach is hard to forget.
When planning your wedding beach location you must consider when and where. Fortunately, Southern California has moderate winters and consistently warm weather. Regardless, summer is the busiest time of year for beach weddings. Even with the pleasant weather prepare for the chance of a cool ocean breeze. All three are equally beautiful in their own regard with something different to offer. Santa Monica really stands out with is gorgeous beachfront properties and spacious parks. The beaches are public and guest parking is readily accessible. FYI, it's always best to check with local services to confirm your beach wedding is allowed and not already booked.

Situated along the Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu is very popular among celebrities and movie stars planning a knockout wedding. Of particular interested is Zuma Beach - the view will take your breath away. Filled with nothing but coastline Zuma is perfect for anyone seeking refuge from the noise of the city. A look at the Crucial Steps in Your Wildlife Photography When I first thought about doing wildlife photography I was a bit stuck for inspiration. I was in the middle of the city with no wildlife in sight, unless you counted the people milling all around me, and I wasn't due up for another long vacation for at least a few months yet. So obviously wildlife photography in the wild was out, but someone very helpfully pointed me in the direction that I'm about to point you in now. What about the wildlife at the zoos? There was more or less all the wildlife that I could want just sitting there bored in their cages watching people make funny faces at them. (Sounds a bit like what a baby has to go through doesn't it?)
But I still had to wait for the weekend for that and I was chafing at the bit to get into my stride in wildlife photography, when the second suggestion struck me as being the answer to all my troubles. Wildlife photography from home! I could get started immediately I went home, and if nothing else I could always go after the dog. Now that we've sorted out where you can take your wildlife shots, maybe we should now think about what kind of wildlife photography you were thinking of doing.
This is a crucial step in your wildlife photography but not something that you might want to look into just yet. You might still want to get your hands into everything to decide exactly what it is about wildlife photography that you like. Is it the thought of capturing on film the big cats like lions and tigers? Or maybe you want to photograph elephants. What about hippos, or zebras or even rhinos?
And if you don't like the idea of going big, then do you like the idea of going small? Have you thought about birds and insects? What about the much maligned rodent varieties? As you can see there are many different types of wildlife photography options available to you and you just have to reach out and take it.
In the wild is where you get all the action, all the heart pounding terror of being in the wild along with the animals, knowing that you're in their home court and that your advantage depends entirely on the guide who's leading you around. This then is what many of the greatest wildlife photographers yearn to do and where they end up anyway. Whether the reality meets their expectation of the dream is another matter entirely.
They're there, in the wild, with the ability to get up close and personal with their wildlife subjects. Nothing at all like the zoo back home, but then again what did you expect right? However, it's also true that wildlife shots, are natural, don't only have to be shots of the big game animals. Wildlife shots can be of anything that is considered wild. Take my dog for instance. I consider the shots that I took of him to be wildlife purely for the reason that there isn't a tame bone in his body. He bounces and bounds around like nobody's business and defends his territory with deep menacing growls. The fact that he wouldn't hurt a fly is another matter entirely.
So although in-the-wild wildlife shots are great and look amazing, I would take whatever I can get, at least in the beginning. In the wild is preferably where you might like to take your wildlife photographs, but sometimes you just don't have the choice or the ability to do that. In that case I would recommend that you start your sojourn into wildlife photography at the zoo. Going to the zoo will offer you the opportunity to catch some of the fiercest wildlife, if not in their habitats, then at their best and their worst. It's a bit like catching a movie star in their baggy sweat pants with absolutely no makeup on them! It's fascinating and you won't necessarily get the chance for such candid shots if you were in their natural habitat.

A detailed map of Spain is important when you are planning a vacation. A good map will give you an idea of the layout of the country. This will help you decide where you want to spend your vacation. If you plan to visit a few cities, this will help you plan your itinerary.

In the northern part of the country, there are coastal resorts and quaint fishing villages. These will give you a taste of authentic Spanish life in a small village. Some areas, such as La Rioja are known for wine production. You will get to experience the culture more than you would in a large city that is a tourist attraction.
You get the chance to experience history by visiting ancient monasteries and viewing cave paintings. In this area, you can also experience nature. The Pyrenees mountains form the natural border along the northernmost part of the country with France. You can take walking and hiking tours here.

Fishing has to be one of the greatest pastimes ever invented. It is also probably one of the oldest. Early man had to eat, and those succulent Salmon would just call to early men as they saw them in the pristine waters of a streambed. Early fisherman used their hands or sharpened sticks to catch fish. The earliest recorded use of fishing lures was in 200AD in Aelian's Natural History. The earliest recorded instances of fly fishing were written in 1210 as part of romance novel. The first really comprehensive book about fly fishing was written in 1496 and titled Treatyse of Fysshynge with an Angle. This book was the first to put fishing forward as a gentlemen's sport on a par with hunting, then a sport for kings and nobles.
Nowadays of course we don't live or die based on whether or not some fish is caught, so there is a much less stress and a lot more fun to be had. Thank god for that, it has become a real pastime and no longer needs to be an occupation.
New England waters are among the most productive on earth. The winter cycle allows Nutrients to be brought into the upper layers of the water resulting in an incredible bloom of life beginning in the spring and lasting throughout the summer into early fall. Phytoplankton and zooplankton bloom in massive amounts, bringing in the small filter feeding fish, which are followed by the larger predators and so on. Thus New England waters are famous for good fishing.
Rhode Island is a great summertime destination for both fresh and saltwater fisherman. Striped Bass have come back in a big way, although there are very large numbers of small bass the large ones are still being overharvested. Other species like Bluefish and Flounder are very abundant. Many people come to Rhode Island during the summer just to enjoy the fishing, especially from New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, since RI has a superior fishery.
There are many ways to enjoy this sport. Many fish from shore, sitting in a chair on the beach with baited rods, waiting for that telltale hit and relaxing. Quite a few own boats and fish from them on their own or with their friends. Others vacation in RI around Newport or South County and charter a boat to take them to and enjoy a day of fishing. Of course, there is also the avid fishermen who live just to fish. All these different people can find satisfaction somewhere along the 400 miles of coastline in the Ocean State.
The sites can be quite as interesting as the fishing itself. Fishing from shore and watching the surf come down the Charleston breachway, now there's a sight. It is especially interesting watching a boater attempt to charge down the breachway on the way into or out of Ninigret pond, with rocks on either side of them and huge waves going into the breach. Sunrise in the morning on Narragansett Bay can be a very beautiful site. Of course, nothing beats the excitement of a huge school of small baitfish jumping out of the water as rapacious Bluefish smash through them. It is quite a sight to see as the surface of the water boils with the action. Just makes you want to grab a fishing pole and throw something in there while they're still slashing. Of course, the most fun of all is when you have a fish on the line and the drag is singing as he makes a run to escape, with you holding on as the rod is bent over double. Its very exciting, and something we can all enjoy at on e time or another.
Waikiki Restaurants-We Love Them, But ...

You're on vacation in beautiful Waikiki and you want to go out for a romantic dinner overlooking the ocean. You walk around a bit and find a place with a great view and nice ambiance. You go in expecting a nice meal only to be disappointed with bad service and mediocre food. Unfortunately, this has happened to us quite a few times. Sometimes we find a place with good food but the staff and service are so bad we don't go back. What's going on and how do you find the good restaurants in Waikiki?
Like many other tourist destinations, it seems some restaurants in Waikiki take advantage of the customers who are only in town for vacation. Since these tourists probably won't become regular customers, the restaurants don't put the energy into quality food and service. And just because a place is expensive does not mean it's going to be any better than a cheaper one. For some places, you basically pay for the view and that's all you're going to get.
This is a frustrating situation but not hopeless. There are terrific restaurants in Honolulu and Waikiki and here's how to find them. Check guide books and online reviews like those at www.tripadvisor.com. Get recommendations from your friends and the hotel concierge. Often the hotel concierge will have sample menus from area restaurants you can look at. Also talk to other hotel staff or even shop clerks. These people are locals and can point you in the right direction. They can tell you about the good places and also the restaurants to avoid. (Keep in mind that sometimes the concierge and taxi drivers receive commissions and discounts from the places they recommend so try to ask around.)
Well known hotels usually have nice restaurants, bars and cafes. We've found some amazing restaurants that we will go back to again and again and two of our favorites are Musashi in the Hyatt and Sansei in the Marriott. Both the Hyatt and the Marriott are international hotels with reputations for quality and they work hard to earn and keep that reputation. You may never come back to their Waikiki locations but chances are, you will have the opportunity to visit another location in the future so they want to keep you happy.

To catch one of the longest left breaks on the Pacific side of Central America head to Pavones in the Golfo Dulce area. The Salsa Brava in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca is the biggest break in Costa Rica and is meant for expert surfers only. Sharp and fast, the waves here are very dangerous and should not be attempted unless you are a pro.
Popular Costa Rica Surf Spots Mal Pais and Santa Theresa are two very popular surf spots on the Nicoya Peninsula. Home to a number of surf camps as well, the waves here are excellent with plenty of affordable accommodations. The Malpais Surf Camp and Resort, Frank's Place and the Hotel Flor Blanca are a few of the well-known places to stay in this area.
In Guanacaste province and on the Nicoya Peninsula as well, both Playa Grande and Playa Negra offer some superb surfing. Playa Grande is a more quiet surf zone, while Playa Negra has some exciting waves. Made famous when the movie Endless Summer II was filmed here, the breaks at Playa Negra are fast and hollow.
Both Dominical and Matapalo are quiet surf zones and are ideal for the more serious surfer who wants nothing more than to just surf. Dominical lies along the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, while Matapalo sits on the Osa Peninsula close to the Corcovado National Park.

About Vaishali One of Buddha's favourite resort, Vaishali, is said to be named after King Vishal, a ruler during the times of Ramayana. The Lichchavi state is said to be among world's first republics. The city was a major industrial center and an important town under the control of the Lichchavis. Vaishali, the birthplace of Lord Vardhman Mahavira, last Tirthankar of Jainism, is equally sacred for the Buddhists. Lord Buddha gave his last preaching in this city and announced his Mahaprayan. Major Tourist Attractions in Vaishali Ashokan Pillar The Lion Pillar at Kolhua, was built by Emperor Ashoka. Made of single piece of red sandstone, the pillar is capped by a 18 m high bell shaped capital. On the top is kept a life-size figure of lion.
Bawan Pokhar Temple A Hindu temple, Bawan Pokhar temple is situated on the banks of a lake called Bawan Pokhar. The old temple, built during Pala period, enshrines beautiful images of Hindu Gods and Goddesses.
Buddha Stupa 1 and 2 The Buddha Stupas were created in the name of the second Buddhist council. The outer stupa has a stone box, which has one-eighth of lord Buddha's ashes. The inner stupa was excavation in 1958 and it also held a stone box containing some part the ashes of the Lord Buddha.
Raja Vishal ka Garh The fort of King Vishal is in ruins today. A huge platform here, which has a circumference of about one Kilometre and walls nearly 2m high with a 43m wide moat, is said to be the parliament house of King Vishal. More than seven thousands representatives could stand here to discuss the issues.
Coronation Tank An excavated site, this place is believed as an ancient parliament house of the Lichchavi government. The water of the tank was used to anoint the selected representatives. It is located near the Raja Vishal ka Garh.
Getting There Air: The nearest airport from Vaishali is the Loknayak Jai Prakash International Airport, Patna, situated 55 km away. Rail: The nearest railhead is Hajipur, situated 35 km, which is well connected to the major cities of India. Road: Roads are the most suitable means to reach Vaishali. There are regular buses for Vaishali from Patna and other major cities of Bihar.
